I have a 55 gallon tank thats up and running for about 2 months now. I think the tank is probably ready to start adding some stuff. I would like to know if anyone can help me with knowing what I should get for the clean up crew. I have heard that a lot of times you dont need all that much stuff and your just adding extra mouths to feed. I have had the brown algae stuff on the bottom of my tank that you can like peel up so I am hoping something is out there to take care of that. Thanks.

My clean up crew consists of hawaian, scarlet, and blue hermits; nassarius snails, peppermint shrimp, etc. Sand sifting stars are tough to keep and knock things over. I would skip those. I have been doing this for about 13 years. For some reason it seems like my crabs always eat my snails and I can never keep emerald crabs for more than a year or so.
