purple alege problem? pic inclosed

i started my tank about 3 months ago and got a pc light about 3 weeks ago. ever since i got the light, i have had a bad alege problem so i purchased more snails and crabs. latley i have had alot of purple slim looking stuff growning on my live rock, was wondering what it is.
i have a 20 gal long tank
pc light
power head
hang on back bio wheel filter

That's cyanobacteria. Snails and hermits won't eat it. Get a turkey baster and blast it off, it will most likely come back unless you take measures to keep it gone... Lemme find the link for you...

i used somthing called red slim away in my reef and it took care of mine...it looks like the same stuff
