Purple Barnacals

I was looking at Kiefers winning shot (Congrats) and noticed in bottom left corner a piece of dead purple barnacles. I have the same piece in my tank, does anyone have a live specimen in there tank (please post picture) or are they another beauty that is to remain in the ocean?

I have them as well. I've never seen them offered alive.

LOL I'm starting to think we all have them in or near our tanks. My mother had them before I ever started keeping fish, had it on the coffee table with a dried puffer on top of it.

I've got 2 large dead ones. I've always wondered if someone had live ones. I'm hoping my blenny will find home in one.

I saw a show on the Food Net - the were collecting them in Spain for food, they grow on the rocky shores with the biggest waves, rough water. It was pretty crazy how they were collecting them. I think they need a lot of flow.
