purple corraline algae

can too many turbo snails eat corraline algae? or are they incapable of eating that?

I keep a large number of assorted snails including turbos and they've never done damage to my coraline....

Sorry this is kinda off topic but do bio wheels work against coralline algae? I think i read that somewhere im just wondering if it's true. I currently have one and my tank is 6 months old and I can't get any at all. Im just now seeing small specs. :happyfish
