Purple Firefish

Anyone have purple firefish. Been looking into getting one.
Iis it an active fish? Does it hide a lot? Difficulty of care? any special things about it not commonly known, etc? My roomate had one but it died soon after he got it.
Currently have 2 clowns, cleaning crew and corals.

Not a swimmer active but will find a cave that will be its home and hang out near it flicking his top fin. They swim a little but not far from their home. Buy it for looks not activity..... And keep in mind it is a jumper too and WILL jump out of your tank if something startles it like you walking by the tank or a fish chasing him etc......

A great fish IMO,IME. So far so good with my purple firefish, he will move if sooked but the movment so far has not been of extreme panic. Mine likes to hang out in the middle/front of the tank near the bottom and hover there so he is almost always in veiw.
Now the sixline is also an excellent choice, this guy will weave and move through the rocks all day long looking for a snack, an active mover, but seems to never want to sit still for a camera shot.

IME ppf is a great fish, i had one and very hardy, colourful and active

Great community fish and they add a lot of color. Mine hangs out about mid level all day and hides at night. When I bought mine, it jumped two tanks over, so make sure your tank is covered.

Very good fish and hardy! Belive it or not mine is the boss of the tank or so he thinks so. He will try to push around my yellow tail and my yellow tang He has a big ego what can I say. Every time another fish comes by his area (which seems to be getting bigger and bigger) he pushes his body up on the other fish to push them away.
