Purple lobster

May have the oportunity to pick up a purple lobster. I've read they are okay but some have instances to eat other inverts
Anyone have any experience with these?

I have had a purple lobster for a while now and have not had any problems with him messing with any corals,fish or inverts.He stays hidden in the rocks most of the time. HTH

They may bother grazing fish such as lawn mower blennies. They also hide behind rocks and only come out for seconds a day. They do look very cool though.

I used a 20oz water bottle, cut the top off and reinserted it in the bottle. Then I baited it with krill and got him in about 3 minutes.
