Purple mat with green 'polyps?' coming out of tubes ... ID

There's about a 2x1 inch purple mat with 1/4 inch tubes, also purple, that have green polyps/fingers that come out of them at the LFS. Beautiful. Only $10 and I'd like to look into what they are and what they would require so I can decide if I can support them in my nano. Anyone have an ID or thoughts on it? Thanks for your time!

I think they are Star Polyps. usually they are easy to take care of an may spread pretty quickly. Some people do not like them because the do spread so quickly. but I think they are cool.

Sounds very much like star polyps. Very easy to keep and very easy to propigate as they spread quickly. I'd get them and by the time your wife lets you get your big tank you'll be able to take plenty of cuttings to put in there.

Ok, picking it up tonight. I love getting small little frags for $10 ... it's something I don't feel to guilty about.
