purple polyps question

I have some purple polyps, not sure the technical name, but they never seem to open all the way, and they're not growing very fast. Just wanted to know if there is something I can do to help. I have 350 watts PC on my 55 gal tank and they're in the middle in a medium flow area. not sure what I'm doing wrong. :help: anyone who replies Thank you, I would really like to see these polyps do well.

They may not be happy where you have them in the tank. Try moving them around a little. They tend to like a little current. At least mine do.
