Purple Pseudochromis...was ok, now dead!

Ok, After my tank tank finished it's cycle (Month and half ago) I bought my first 2 fish, 2 false percs. They are great little fish. 2 weeks after that I added my Purple Pseudochromis. This moring I woke up and he was breakfest for my inverts. I don't know, the clowns look good, there was no symptoms leading up to this. I'm kinda clueless. Him and the clowns never had any probs that I ever saw, it always ate.....strange. What a nice looking fish too and loved to watch swim in and out of crevices in the LR. This sucks.:(
BTW:
20g Tank,w/ LR 2 False Percs and inverts.

How long did he live in the tank b4 death. If short how did u put him in the water (just poor him in -maybe shock) what r ur tank readings?

tanks reading were 0 all around....Ph was 8.2 and it was in the tank for like 3 weeks. The acclimation time was an hour when I first got the fish...the thing looked healthy last night and then BAM...INVERT FOOD.
