a pic would be a great thing
but here is my hypothesis.
you have some type of zoo eating nudi that came in on the polyps you just bought. however i am basing this on extreamly limited information. Just that you belive they came in on soem polyps and they are the same color. some species can change to the color of what they are eating.

this mornig its my day off. i turned on my lights and tons of em
the smaller piece of glove polyps is almost dead. i pulled it out and and picked off at least 50 of these munching lil purpleish slugs they are eating the base and killing it off. i also pulled out the larger piece and tweezed off another 30-40  i ll be doing this for thenext couple of months
hopefully i can get rid of them. is there any creature i could get that eats these nudis
i cant post a pic cause i only have a cheap digital that i cant get to work sorry!!! ANY BODY THE FIRST SIGN OF A SLUG

[hr]
PULL EM OUT AND GET RID OF EM! THEY ARE BAD!!!!!

SOME six lined wrasses will eat them. but not all. it depends on the fish itself. so that would be risky unless you can find one from a local reefer who is selling one and you know it eats them. i wouldnt trust a LFS if that particular fish eats them or not.
