purple tang and a powder blue?

Does anybody know from experience or knows anyone that was successful putting these together in a tank. I have an established 92 gal corner invert tank with a powder blue tang and 5 green chromis. i want to add a purple tang. I have read not to house these two 2 tangs in the same tank. I have had the powder blue for about 8 months so he could be territorial. I have read that purple tangs can be the most aggressive of the tangs so could this work? thanks

I wouldn't do it. A 92 gal courner is too small for 2 tangs that get pretty large. They will most likely get stressed and you could lose both. BTW< welcome to the boards

NO dont do that! my cousin has a 100 gal tank and added both of those tangs at the same time. in about 2 days the powder blue died. the hermit crabs and shrimp where eating what was left. then about 1 week later the purple one died. (im thinking from stress) i like purple tangs much better than powder tangs.
there colors are amazing
