how big of a tank do u need for a purple tang?
nicetry Active Member Mar 13, 2005 #4 Suggesting a purple tang for a 75 is not much different than saying it would work well in a 55. Still a marginal 4 ft. tank. PT's are good sized when grown, and active swimmers. Larger, 6 foot systems would serve this fish better.
