Aside of stress or poor water quality. The misconception IMO with lighting and anenomes is that just because they require alot of light doesnt mean if they are not in it something is wrong. Anenomes frequently move away from the light because its not something they may want at that time. Or something else is more important to them, catching food, flow or just acclimating to its surroundings and getting used to them. They tuck themselves in to where they feel safe. The issue then becomes when it wants light to have it there for them in an intensity that they need it in. Which is where problems occur, having that readily available high MH VHO or T-5 Lighting when they need it is key. IMO.
