Purple-Up?

Use it once a week and test your Calcium and Alkalinity while using. If levels are to low add a bit more regularly untill you achieve the desired levels.

is purple a good thing? We have a new 75gal. tank thats about 6 or 7 weeks old & just this week this purple hair lookin stuff is spreading really fast all over the bottom of the tank on the crushed coral. Is this somethin to worry about or what???

Coraline can grow on substrates (though less likely to than on LR), but the "hair" part worries me. Coraline can look sort of fuzzy when it first grows... but hair is generally a bad algae.

I'll get a pic on here if i can figure it out. If its a bad algae what can i do to kill it or feed it to something, without hurting the the fish that i now know i put in too"quick"...
