purple up

Do i need a skimmer for my 24g nano cube? if so which one should i get..

I've used it and it seemed to help. That being said I would not nessacerily recommend it. As long as you keep proper parameters (alk/ca) you should purple up naturally. It takes a few months for it to come. Coraline algae also seems to perfer lower bluer lighting verses bright white lighting with strong par.

yeah purple up is crap, I kinda like sea chem buffer lol, it seems to boost alk and calcium really well....
don't hate, but I get coralline like a mofo within 2 weeks on ANY tank. I can make any brand new tank look established within 2months.
