is there a difference between the blue pvc cement and clear pvc cement? is one beter than the other?

The blue is a primer.

the primer i had was clear? label said cleaner/primer, will this be bad for tank?

nope, I use clear primer and clear cement. I hate those purple streaks all over my plumbing.

Actually they are different, but I don't know the difference and was gonna ask that. The one with the blue label says "medium" and the clear label says "regular". I think these are what you are talking about. So, can anyone tell us the difference between the regular and medium strength

Usually, the differences in PVC cements have to do with the viscosity and how fast it sets.
