PVC only overflow

I put together a PVC only overflow this weekend and it did not work for me the most I got from it was a little bit of water to come out of it. Then I thought about it ,I did a dry run with out cementing all together first could that be my problem.

it should just as good without the cement. PVC is good like that.
more likely a design flaw. you got pics?

my brother isistius should have a thread about stockman overflows. try some searches on those terms.
i still have no idea how or what he built. still waiting on pics i guess.
