PVC pipe cement???

OK, I am not working on my sump/fuge, I got the PVC pipe set up, now I just need to glue it together. What I need to know is what should I use for this. I got a PVC cement from Home Depot, but it says nothing about aquariums at all. Is this safe or should I get something else?

It is probably ok to use. Just make sure the joints are completely dry. I have used the cement and primer on pipes in my aquarium and have had no problems.

I used all purpose cement and was worried too because of all the warnings and the smell but I listened to these people and all worked out well. So far!
Juggernaut, I think it is more like 3 seconds!

Also, wait at least 24 hours before using it on your system.

Thanks for the help, i got most of the plumbing done, and will work on it more tomorrow when i am off. Now just need to get the pump, and i can start to add water
