Pygmi Angle with Lymphocystis

My angle has Lymphocystis, I dont have a QT set up the tank is at my work. None of the other fish are getting infected but the angle has a new spot on his top fin.
Is there anything i can do for him besides a QT im running a uv he seems happy and well. he developed it the day after i put him in I think...? I dont know if my LFS carrys Garlic anything ill look if not how do you make it? thanks for the help

you dont want to put a fish with lymph in QT. it is viral and usually easily subdued when in a healthy tank of proper proportions (to the fish) and the fish is eating quality foods.
what are your water params at?
how big is your tank?
what do you feed?
just keep the stress way down. it probably was starting to get it from the store condtions, and then it got stressed from the move.

I agree with saltnoob here. Please take a look at Beth's Common Treatments FAQ located at the top of Disease and Treatment for information on Lymphocystis and how to crush fresh garlic.

its a 40 breader i just posted it up in the reef section today. the params are all good the tank has only been up for 3 weeks. he has been in there since the second. he didn't have any symptoms of the virus for the first week or so. nothings bothering him Im doing my changes so i will just see about the garlic.
I was just getting concerned because he got a new spot on his top fin.

The tank is new so there is not a lot of natural food for him to pick at yet. Be sure to feed Angel formula foods. This has sponge in it which is very important to an Angel's diet. Adding vitamins will also help.
