Pygmy Angelfish stuck in rock?

I've got a problem with my Pygmy Angelfish. I woke up this morning and couldn't find him in the tank. My boyfriend finally found him crammed up underneath a rock in a tiny crevice. We watched him for about 10 minutes. He looked like he was really interested in whatever was in the rock. But, he never came down. I was worried his head was stuck somehow so I picked the rock up until he finally came out of it. He just floated down to the bottom of the tank. Now he's just sitting there. His fins and tail are moving like he's trying to swim forward, but he only has success in going backwords and turning around. As hard as it was, I had to leave him there so I could go to work. The fish was acting perfectly normal when I went to bed last night. I don't know what could be wrong with him, other then the fact he's been stuck up in that rock all night and is just stunned now.
Has anyone had this happen? Could there be something else wrong with him? I really love this fish and want to do whatever I can to help him. Please help. Let me know if I need to provide more info.
Thanks

As far as I know, the safe thing to do when you see fishes got 'stuck' in a lr, is leave them alone. I don't really know, but anything could've happened when you picked the rock up. Now, I guess just leave him alone. Do not add more stress to him and also make sure that he's eating well. That's the only advice I can give you. I hope that helps.

Looks like I was all worried for nothing. The crazy booger was swimming around fine when I got home last night. I've had that fish for 3 days and he's already starting to stress me out ROFL!!!
Many thanks :D
