i have a question for you guys.I have a fowls tank .i have been reading here at sw.com about cleaning crews. should i have one? i have a naso,coral beauty and a cc starfish and almost every thread i read on the subject says most people have some sort of cleaner fish of invert.can some one tell me the benefits or whether or not of having them.thanx alot! ps.info on what to get would be appreciated.:thinking:

IMO Clean up sare very important. Without them you will have a hard time controlling Alagea and your Nitrates. The clean up crew will take care of cleaning your tank in a natural way with out them you would need to vaccum the tank daily to avoid overloading your Bio filter.
Everyone is going to have a different opinion on what clean up crews to get. I have a 46 gal tank and noticed you have a 100 Gal tank so I will just list double of what I have. The following list should be a good start then add if needed.
30 Scarlet Hermits
10 Turbo Snails
10 Nassarius Snails
4 Emarald Crabs
2 sally lightfoot crabs ( I guses they can live together?)
2 Cleaner Shrimp
2 urchins
1 Diamond Goby
As I said I have half of this list for my 46 and they are doing a great job keeping my tank clean
