QT design

This is a design I want to use for my QT
the baffles have a space of 1/2" on the bottom so water can flow through entire setup.
At the end there is a compartment to put a pump from a skimmer.
Also the water will be pulled out on one side and returned from the other side after it had ran through a UV filter. Same inlet and outlet would be used to do eventual water changes.
Each compartment would be 11x11x11 (could be made larger maybe?)
would this work or would it not be smart to connect several QT to each other?

Since the water is shared by all the QT inhabitants I am not sure of the benefit of having separate compartments unless you have fish that might not get along. If that was the case, after the QT process you would be stuck with putting these same fish into your DT. In addition, if you are trying to QT some corals in one compartment and fish in another what are you going to do if you want to try hyposaline or use a chemical treatment on the fish that would be detrimental to the inverts?
Just my take.

I was checking the thread a couple times pondering......
I don't see the real point in having separate compartments with 1/2" gaps at the bottom. If your trying to separate the fish; IMHO the fish will get under that 1/2" gap your leaving at the bottom......
If your purpose is to separate them I would drill the dividing panels with holes.....Basically "pepper" the panels with holes to allow water to flow through from 1 end to the other end.
IMHO I think 11"x11" compartments are small.....I would never think of putting something in the order of an Achilles, Powder Blue or a sensitive specimen in a small compartment. I would opt to maximize the compartments vs making numerous smaller ones.....Just my thoughts though!!!!!
I see nothing wrong with the planning of UV and water change idea......
