My 11gal. QT finally cycled after what seemed like an eternity. I am ready to get my next addition which is where I would appreciate some advice.
Currently in my 125 DT I have the following:
5 small green chromis
a black sailfin blenny
2 peppermint shrimp
Mexican Turbos
Several Hermits
an emerald crab
3 bristle stars
sand sifter star
fighter conch
candy cane coral
frogspawn
koko worm
several zoanthid frags
I plan to add the following:
a blue spotted jawfish
orange spot goby
strawberry goby
royal dottyback or
royal gramma
2 clown fish
purple firefish
pygmy angelfish
yellow tang
hippo tang
derasa clam
Your advice is greatly appreciated.

A 125 is too small for an adult hippo tang.
The dwarf angels will likely pick on the clam's mantle because they feed on the mucous coating, thus stressing out the clam. Also, give the tank at least 6 months to mature/stabilize before getting a clam.
Make sure you have your tank covered, as you have some known 100% jumpers on the list.

Skip the Blue Spot Jawfish. After the experiences I've had with mine, I started doing a lot of research on these guys and have decided to agree with many folks at WetWebMedia, they should not be kept in home tanks, and if they are, they really don't do well with other tankmates. Very often, for seemingly no reason (obviously it has something to do with our tanks and not the oceans) they develop what has been labled as Blue Spot Jawfish Disease. This is one of the better reads on this: http://blog.aquanerd.com/2009/05/species-profile-opistognathus.html I have lost two to this now and one was a jumper. I feed my fish well, etc and it still ended up happening. They're fine for a long time and then one day, things just start going downhill.
I also don't think a hippo is suited for your tank. A Kole or similar would be a better option for a second tang with the Yellow.
Skip the Royal Dottyback and the Strawberry Goby, they're mean as all hell.
Which Pygmy angel are you looking at?

That's a real shame about the jawfish. My lfs has one in their DT and it's an awesome sight.
Thanks for the input. The last thing I want to do is add fish that might be too aggressive. I will look up the Kole. As far as the angel, ive just seen it labeled as a dwarf Pygmy angel.
So what should be my next addition? I was told the yellow tang should be one of the last additions.

Yeah, I did a lot of research after my second one was going downhill and I tried so hard to save it, but there was nothing I could do. Some people have luck, but most of us don't. Sucks. I wish these fish came with better warning labels sometimes, especially the Blue Spot Jawfish, it's not that well known to the general hobby that there is such an issue with them.
The Yellow Eye Kole is a really nice tang, not too aggressive, etc. I'd add the Yellow Tang as the last fish to cut down on aggression.
The dwarf Pygmy should be okay, you might have an issue with the clam. My Flame and my Coral Beauty both never touched my clams, my Sailfin Tang was the one who would nip at them. As with any angel, there is always a risk.
I would do the goby or the clowns next.

Well that shortens my stocklist by about half. I need some other ideas to replace those ( jawfish, strawberry goby, dwarf angel, royal dottyback and hippo tang)
I would like the clam so I won't get anything that will bother it.
I've seen the Kole at my lfs store and liked it. I'll do some research on it.
So should I get a pair of clownfish next?
Also, once you take a fish out of the QT and place it in the DT, do you have to change all the water in the QT and cycle it or can you put in the next victim right after?

Just do a small water change and keep going. As long as the fish in there wasn't medicated, there's not too much to worry about. I do a 25% water change and drop in the next fish.
