QT fish

If i order fish from this site do i need to QT them for a week or not??

QT fish from ANY store. I believe 3 weeks is the minimum going rate for this. One week may not be enough to see if any diseases develop (like ich which has at least a 3 week life cycle).

Ok i also have copper left in the QT tank from when my show tank came down with ich. Should i just let the copper in the tank be to lower the risk of ich??:thinking:

If you QT your fish, then there is no need keep copper in your display.

the copper is not in the display tank it is in the QT tank.

I would forget about the copper in the QT. Do a water change and cleanup the QT to prepare for new fish. Also, when you QT fish, it should be 1 at a time, unless you have a sizable QT.
If you new fish have ich, then you will need to either do hyposalinity [preferable] or go back to copper. Copper does no good unless it is maintained at theraputic levels. Copper is not healthy for fish.
