Do you think it would be o.k. to qt a regal tang in a 10 gallon tank if the tang is less than 2 inches?

Here is a pic of the qt I plan on using for my new blue hippo. Do you think it will be o.k. Also can I leave the damsel in qt with him? I keep him in qt to keep it cycled. Or I can put damsel in fuge until hippo is out.

Remove the damsel before adding the regal tang. Don't get one more then 1'' or he will go crazy in a 10 gallon.

Here are couple pics on new tang. Would it be a good idea to treat him for ick even if shows no spots? I know you should just observe them and only treat if spots show, but knowing they are ich magnets I thought maybe this would be wise. Also if I do or need to treat what would be better, copper or hypo?

Thanks, Jeff
