I am running my QT and hypoing the tank. My Ammonia is rising to 2.0 .....The serial water changes are not helping. I borrowed my friends KENT Ammonia Detox last night...Ammonia level is down to 1.0.
How often can I use this stuff?
Should I even worry?
How often should I be doing water changes?

How big is your QT how many fish do you have in it are you sure your tank is cycled are you sure of the accuracy of your test kit? Sorry for all the questions but all maybe factors in your ammonia problem

Tremendous bioload for the 10 gallons. I had similar situation 2 years ago with treating several large fish for Ich in small QT. Until the nitryfying bacteria caught up to my bioload
I was doing Daily 50% water changes. Did this for first 10-12 days of hyposalinity. IMO the 'Ammonia Detox', whatever brand, is used for the short term until you can do a water change. IMO short term means 12-24 hours.

You will have to keep up on the water changes. Can you add more biological bacteria to the tank? Do you have a filter pad or something in your display that you can add? How long have they been in hypo?
