QT or not?

Hello all,
I am looking at adding some cerith and nassarius snails and possibly a couple of cleaner shrimp and I was wondering what the opinion is of whether or not to QT? I practice QT on fish but it seems like most everyone says that it is not necessary to QT inverts. Thanks!

ICH and many parasitic infestations will not infest on inverts but the problem isn't the crab being hosted by the parasite...
it's the water and encysted tormonts! When little baby ICH trophonts emerge and are looking for a new host fish they have three days to swim and seek. Then they will die but they are a super threat when they're swimming.
The good news is that you don't need to QT for the parasite's full life cycle since they're already either encysted on a crab shell or in the water. Let's say they encysted on the crab's shell the day your LFS bagged the crabs. Nine days to hatch and If the trophonts can't find a fish in the next three days they're toast!

A 14 day QT would be safe!
