Well i got myself a yellow tang about 2 weeks ago and he was doin fantastic untill yesterday when i noticed he had ich and he had passed it on to all my other tank mates.
(btw he went through a bromothelme(sp) blue freshwater dip for 10 min.....i have no QT setup)

so this is wat i have
2x ocelaris clowns
1x bangii cardinals
1x purple lined wrasse
1x Valentini Puffer
1x yellow tang
now im goin to work 2day (bunnings warehouse, like homedepo) to get a large rubber bin to place my fish in and the put them under OST (hyposalinity). my real question is what size bin is gonna be large enough for me to safely treat all my fish. i will be running my eheim canister filter on the QT that is full of EfieSubstrate so ammonia and nirite should not be to much of a problem but was wondering what u guy could suggest for bin size? i will run my original bin over the 4 week period keeping premixed saline water for water changes at the correct hyposalinity salinity levels so water changes wont be a problem, but to minimise time wasting since i have 2 jobs, studing 4 a degree and a woman to worrie about i would like to get the biggest bin possible to reduce the fuss that i will have to go through.
cheers for the help :happyfish

Since you have a yellow tang I would say the bigger the better. You will have to keep him happy in there for 4 - 6 weeks. Make sure you do frequent water changes, and test your water often. Good luck!
