QT tank cleaning

I posted a few last week with some Ich problems. Well all my fish are dead after I moved them into a QT and started treatment, so I am starting over with my QT tank. Do I need to clean my QT tank with anything special to get the Ich out of my tank before I start a new cycle with some damslfish??? Thanks,

Just leave the tank fishless for a month. That will wipe out the ich in that tank. Also, don't use fish to cycle a tank, use freshseafood, such as shrimp.

I had a tank for a few months and added a Blue Tang that I think had Ich but not sure. He was scratching himself when we first got him. We went on vacation a few days later, came back and he was dead in the tank and I dont know how long hee was in there. I am sure the water quality played a part. I set up a QT tank and pulled all the fish out and started treating them. Unfortunately none made it, and the last one had alot of salt looking spots on him. Is there a way that I can clean out my QT tank without waiting a month? and...Shouldnt I get the cycle going in the QT tank with cheap fish before I attempt to put a bigger fish in my QT before transfering to my big tank? Thanks
