QT tank size

I am going to have to qt a small ( 1 1/2") tomato clown. Will a five gallon tank be big enough ?? I had a ten gallon and made two five gallon partitions, so I could remove the partion if I need to. Thanks

I have a ten gallon that has about the same size fish as well as two small (1") fish in it. I keep a soft isolation net hanging in there just in case one of them gets nasty towards anyone else. Close quarters brings out the worst in everyone I only have some soft lighting on it as well, didn't hurt them at all. In fact, it was my old FW tank before I had to make a QT in a hurry.

A 5 gallon would work, for ONE small clown... but it would be a chore, you would need to REALLY keep a look out for your water conditions!
