QT Tank

I need to make a quarantine tank ASAP. My nitrates are insanely high and I think my fish have ich. What is the best thing to do? And don't quarantine tanks spike like normal tanks so wouldn't the fish have to go through that cycle? This is all they do all day long except for a quick swim then back to a rock.
