qt tank

I was told by lfs to get a QT tank. My question is size, filters, and how long to keep the fish in it? Need info.

I would suggest a twenty gallon. However, I just got a ten gallon and it seems to be doing fine. You just have to be careful about temp. It can change fast in that small of a tank. All you need is a power filter, a thin layer of substrate, thermometer, and decorations.

I have a 10 gal. setup running now. Temp. is not a problem I go a heater and temp is good. The problem is a percula clown lives in it. He was gotten from a lfs with a maroon clown from the same tank at the same time. but the maroon was going after the percula so the percula was moved. The maroon took over both anemones from day one. How can I get the clown back in the 75 gal. tank? once I do how long should new fish stay in GT tank? Help!!
