QT tank's minimal requirements

Beth, et al,
I have a 10 gal quarantine tank that I cycled using a piece of my LR. What is the minimum filtration requirements for a 10 gal qt tank?

You could just use a powerhead if you want to do min. Then just keep a very close eye on water quality and vaccum the bottom frequently. Otherwise, any filtration will do. The idea is to maintain water quality. In a QT setup, you're goal to maintain good water quality, not build up the bio-load capacity of your system to support many lifeforms.

So you figure a cheap bilfilter with a powerhead but no protien skimmer is enough?
Is this enough considering I plan on keeping my animals quarantined for at least 28 days.
Then will I kill by biofilter when I treat these animals with Copper based medications?
