QT to main tank

This may be a dumb question but when I take my clown out of my QT (in one week) do I need to drip acclimate him to my main tank like I did for my QT? and how long should I wait before I put another fish in the QT and do I need to do anything to it before hand.

Always acclimate when going from one tank to another
Best bet would be to do a water change in the QT just for safety, then add another fish. Check all paramaters in the QT FIRST!
