When i bring the fish home from my LFS and but him in the QT. How long untill im 100% sure that he doesnt have ich? 3 weeks or longer?

4 wks in QT is perfect. Keep in mind that while the fish is in QT you are looking for all signs of disease, not just ich. If you have to treat for a disease, the QT will likely increase.

4 weeks is ideal. However, I usually only do 3 weeks unless I have a suspicion that something may be wrong.
