Do everyone normally quarantine their first fish that goes into their tank? On my freshwater tanks, I didn't, only when I purchased more fish to go into the tank.
I went to the lfs today to get my 1st 2 fish for my tank, a lawnmower blemmy and a firefish. I had my q-tank set up and ready for them before I went. But instead of getting 2 fish for my tank, I got 4. They had some of the prettiest true perchs so I bought 2 small ones that is almost an inch long. After I did a drip, I put the firefish and the lawnmower blemmy in my 65g tank. The perchs will be in the q-tank for the next month. I have 90# of live rock and a dsb in the 65g. The rock came from a 2-year-old established tank and already has coral and sponges growing on them. Hopefully, everything will be alright.
