quarantine fish

right now, after a new fish has been quarantined, I acclimate the fish to my display tank. But I was wondering if this is necessary. If the quarantine tank and the display tank have the same temp, the same salinity, and the same ph, then do you have to acclimate them or can you just take the fish from the quarantine and put directly into the display. thanks

Pro,
If the parameters are the same then no worries. I tend to be a freak and very paranoid, so I typically do a short acclimation with a bucket, but nothing like when you buy a new fish. Acclimation can NEVER hurt.

acclimating might be a safe way to go but if it were me and all the parameters were the same i'd just dump him in
