Quarantine question

I recently bought a 6-line wrasse and have him in the QT. This is the first fish I've QT'd. It has been a week and there are no visible sings of anything affecting him externally. So how do i know if he has any internal parasites or what not. I haven't done anything to the water. I was going to soak some food in garlic this week, and if I noticed anything on him period I would have gone with hypo. He will be in there for at least 2 more weeks so should I do anything else or let him be? Oh I have soaked his food in zoe.

Its a good idea to go ahead a offer the fish food that has been soaked in garlic while in QT. You can keep the fish in the QT for 3 more weeks and then intro him to your main tank, if there are no signs of disease.
Some poeple are doing hypo now in the QT even when there are no signs of ick. TerryB has an article in this month's FAMA which you might want to take a look at.
