Quarantine rock back?

Don't ask why but, I pulled large chunk of liverock out of my tank and used it in my quaranteen tank for a bit. I had copper in the water and the fish never made it through. The rock has sat there for about a year in open air.
What do I need to do to put this back in my main tank? Soak it for a while in some water? Anythoughts? Thanks.

It's been sittin out in open air for a year? I'd say pressure wash it and toss it in

I would hold off and see if there are any other opinions on this...copper is so bad for a reef...don't be in a hurry.
I don't know anything about it, but copper is so bad I caution you to hold off. Jas1 please don't take offense.

I don't take offense to anything Flower. You have given a wealth of advice on this site from what I have read. It seems to me you know your shiz!!! Besides, we're all here to learn right?!?!?!
My suggestion was that if the rock has been out in open air for a whole year a good hard pressure wash would probably rid it of almost anything including copper
Maybe you should try putting it in a bucket of saltwater, after pressure washing it, for a day or 2 and see what happens
