Quarantine Tank Help

I am setting up a quarantine tank. Please give me some ideas on what has been successful for you. I was thinking of using a small 3 gal or 6 gal eclipse set up...has anyone tried these. Also give me your thoughts on whether to do a bare bottom tank capable of medicine applications, or whether you just make is like a regular tank with subsrate and live rock and such, Thanks

IMO... Q or H tanks should be at least 10g the smaller the tank the faster the levels will change...I have a Q/H tank in one set up...also it depends on the size of fish...I couldnt see a 4" fish being 'happy' in a 10g for 3-4 weeks..
