Hi, I wanted to make a quarantine tank and was wondering if I am able to have a clean up crew for it. One of my puffers has fungus and ich on it. One of its eyes are cloudy, his mouth is wide open and he isnt swimming around the way he used to :( Are there any tank cleaners I can put with it that wont get affected by the fungus? :help: Thanks
Tank Info : 20 gal tall, penguin 200 filter, RO water

You do not want anything in the QT. That way you can medicate or treat with hyposalinity. Better get good facts on treating the puffer, I know NOTHING about them! Good luck.

Nope...
Just get a tank set up, use old display water so your parameters are what the fish is used to.
You might want to put some large pvc pieces, joints Etc. in the tank for hiding spots for the fish.
Black out the sides of the tank and bottom of the tank to keep fish from stressing.
Do water changes every couple fo days to control water parameters. Especially crucial with something messy like a puffer.
No clean up crew.. as soon as your fish is healthy you'll dump out the QT tank, wash everything off thoroughly, and then let it dry good. That way you won't be spreading the disease to the next inhabitants.
EDIT:
Ok, just read your tank size... you're going to have to mix up batch of water... make sure salinity, temp, pH are as close as possible to your tank water.
