quarantine tank

I have a 77 gallon fowlr and am wanting to set up a qt tank.
What do i need ? This is what i have to use.
15 gallon
104 fluval
1 150 aquaclear
1 penguin bio wheel
airstone
1 elite 801 airpump
reg 40 watt aquarium bulb in the canopy
1 heater
(no skimmer)
I'm willing to transfer about 1 lb live rock and some sand to the tank and was going to put some snails and blue hermits in.
I'd like to put in a damsel to cycle, what do you think?

sounds like the perfect qt but leave out the rock and sand. it can absorb some of the medicins you might use making it hard to measure dosage.
