think i'll buy a lawnmower blennie online. how long should i quarantine and should i treat him with anything?

Do not treat him with anything unless he shows signs of a parasite or infection.
Quarantine as you would with any other fish. Provide a few rocks, some hide out areas, and the proper food for 3-4 weeks while you closely observe the fish.

While Lion has more experience than I (by far). If you have some experience in the hobby, a cycled QT, and a good refractometer, you could also consider
hyposalinity on the LMB while he is in the QT.
Ich appears to be the scourge of this hobby and hyposalinity offers the safest (best?) form of prevention and treatment.
But if you QT only you are still way ahead of many other swf enthusiasts

Blennies, although should still be observed closely and quarantined, are less likely to come in with ich than many other fish. I would not hypo this fish unless needed.
