Quarantine?????

I have been reading some posts that have said to quarantine new fish before they go into there new home. In what, & how long. Anyone????

There have been numerous discussions on this resently in the Disease Forum. Do a search there, and you should get a good deal of information.

It is best to quarantine new fish so in case they have ich or something they won't effect your other fish because they'll be in the quarantine. You can have a quarantine in a 10gal tank or however big you want. You should quarantine the new fish for at least two weeks, some people do it for three but I have always just done two weeks. But do a search as Beth suggested to find out more info.
