Quarantined, now with death too?!

Hi guys,
I just made a small quarantine tank in my basement since my reef tank fish have been dying and some dead of ich. I lost my kole yellow eye, damsel, cardinal, 2 black bar chromis, and my coral beauty angel.. i mean it was ridiculous. So now my reef tank is empty besides shrimp, snails, and coral. The quarantine was a 20 gallon which I made into a sump a long time ago, which i haven't used in a long time. Breaking some of the glass and making it an emergency quarantine tank, I put my remaining fish in there. I am treating with copper, and yet one of my 2 ocellaris clowns died today in the quarantine, and now my sailfin has lost its color and is breathing so heavy it's unbelievable. I know I put them in treatment a little too late, but this should be good for them? I've done what I needed to do to help them, and yet the sailfin is going downhill fast, and my ocellaris clown died. What am I doing wrong? What SHOULD I be doing?
PLEASE HELP. I'M GETTING DESPERATE!!!

i would go the hypo route myself for ich.look up freshwater dip.if the ich is in the gills of the fish they cant breath. the freshwater will explode the ich kind of. last attempt to save them.i have rarely seen a fish come back after its on its side gasping for air though.

Have you checked your parameters? You may have a cycle going if you didn't use some filter material from the display that was well established.
