quarantining new fish

when quarantining new fish before adding to the display, how long do you quarantine them for and are there any mecidines to add to the water from the start?

Absolutely no medications, unless you need medication because you have identified a disease. You can add a bit of stresscoat to the water, however. You can also feed your fish with garlic soaked food. If all is well with fish, min 3 weeks in the quarantine.
