quaratining snails

i really need to get some more snails, turbos and cerinth snails, but i have a fish in my qt that's in hypo and her spots are not gone so it will be weeks till the qt is free again. so i was thinking, if it's only snails, could i put them in a 5 gal bucket with water from the dt, a powerhead and heater, and maybe a sponge from the filter? without actually having a filter, or any lights. i could feed them nori sheets. if i changed a little water every other day, would they be ok for 3 weeks?
