This may sound stupid but I'm not sure. Are all Queen Angelfish Girls? Or is that just the name and there are boys and girls. Is the male species of Queen the King? (Holacanthus passer)

They are not all girls. They get the name QUEEN by the spot on thier head.Looks like a crown.

Queens are Holacanthus Ciliaris, Holacanthus Passer is a totally different fish. It's aka is the Passer Angel. BOTH ARE AWESOME!!!
We have them at Discovery Cove. They both love munching hair algae from the lifeguard stands!!! LOL
They also love the squid and silversides that the stingrays drop. I really would like to get one of the passers. They are one of my favorites at D.C. Just not sure about one with my shark eggs, I'm thinking a juvi. And both species have Males and Females. Juvis look NOTHING like the adults....
