Queen Angelfish

I was just wondering if anyone has had experience keeping this fish? I just read in a book that it is a perfect first angelfish. It said to buy one 3-4 inches and that the Queen Angelfish is disease resistant. If anyone has any info on this fish please let me know.

The tank it would go into would be a 75 gal. reef tank w/ a purple tang, 4 chromis and a cleaner wrasse. The would buy the Queen angel and a sohol tang at the same and add them together.

Hi, Our queen angel was one of our first fish and is still around after 1 year it is a great fish as long as you don't have corals. The sohol tang is another fish we have and although he is quite beautiful he is a creap. He has slashed my other tangs and has killed a couple of angels. He is now in our reef tank and has calmed down alot. Right after we got this fish we wanted him out of the tank, so I wouldn't recommed the sohol. Remember when adding tangs have odd amounts tangs tend to pick on eachother. Good luck

I know Queens like to eat corals, but I have read that if you have corals in there and don't add any new ones when the Queen is in there you have a good chance that it won't eat any corals. I plan on getting one fairly small in the 3-4 in. range.
