queen angelfish

ive had my queen angelfish for a cuple years now and he is in a tank with a pair of of coral banded shrimp a purple lobster and in the last couple of months ive noticed he is losing a few scales is this something they do when they go from juvi colors to adults seems very healthy like always just wondering thanks

Do you have a picture? Their colouring usually looks a little "weird" and faded during a transition.... scales shouldn't be missing.

mine didn't lose scales when it went from juvy colors to adult colors. is there something stressing the angel out? what do you feed the angel...is there sponge in it's diet? what size tank?
